All-Polish Youth march against homosexuals07.03.2007, 11:47
A demonstration of pro-choice and homosexual lobbies took place in Warsaw, 4 March. Meanwhile, a counterdemonstration of dozen or so activists of All-Polish Youth attracted media`s attention which promoted a normal and tradition-bound model of a family. They openly opposed unnatural behaviour of homosexuals and quickly earned passers-by approval while the gay cirlces` aim was to show their “good sides” at all cost.
The representatives of pro-choice organisations shouted “Hands off the constitution!”
They protested against a planned amendment to the constitution which would criminalise abortion in all cases.
A journalist asking a female All-Polish Youth member: “Why do you protest against their march?” “Because abortion is a crime, and sin” – added a young woman.
A sudden, surprise coming of a former MW chairman, deputy Krzysztof Bosak, who also expressed his disapproval at homosexual groups, strengthened the demonstrating morales.
The march came amid renewed plans to guarantee protection to the unborn children, a step vigorously opposed by the leftist groups. However, thanks to the declaration of the ruling Law and Justice Party (PiS) giving the go-ahead, the proposed change stands a good chance of being adopted by the Parliament.
The whole demonstration ran peacefully thanks to a good policing, which prevented serious incidents.

It's hard not to make a comparison between your organisation and the Nazis when the resemblance is striking. The Nazi purge of homosexuals from their own ranks was only the beginning. On June 23, 1935, the first anniversary of the Roehm killings, the Nazis began a legal campaign against homosexuals by adding to paragraph 175 another law, 175a, which created ten new criminal offenses including kisses between men, embraces, even homosexual fantasies.
I consider it a shame that in a country that sufferd greatly from such an abusive ideology now a group of people struggles to act in the same way.
Homosexuals are minority, they always were. Why not leave them in peace, they are human and as evey human being they need respect, love, understanding. Why do you act as they were your enemy? Whose next? The dissabled or the mentally sick? Will you built barracks in the centre of Litewski Square? Use yout hatred on computer games because what yu do is as annacceptable, dangerous and sick as it was in case of the Nazis. Beware |

I am applauding Ewa! Great words of wisdom. You are right, this organization is self-destructive. Nothing can be built when based on hatred.
For you, all-polish-youth (sorry, you do not deserve capital P) turn back to religious values (as you claim you follow) and learn how to respect your brothers and sisters regardless of their beliefs, skin colour or sexual orientation.

| Hatred is your word. That`s first. Hatred is the main weapon of mentally-disordered people who would like to impose a totalist freedom. You say: "Leave homosexuals alone" while these are they who first began parading in the streets and promote improper and indecent behaviour. All-Polish Youth would really like to occupy themselves with other things and not follow homosexuals and protest their insanity. Homosexuality is an unethical behaviour and ALl-Polish Youth will never negotiate the basic and fundamental values such as family, man, woman. I`m also astonished every time I hear about Hitler. Are you really Nazi-maniacs? No "normally thinking" guy will believe in such rubbish. But you may keep on repeating this stale slogan if you can`t find a valuable raison d`etre for homosexuality. This shows they`re a marginal fringe of the society, like it or not. |

I find it very interesting that it would be you speaking of unethical behaviour while promoting hatred. You cannot deny it. You are painting your fence white and try to tell me it is green.
It is good to be passionate about great ideas but it gets dangerous when your ideas infringe on lives of others in a negatives way.
I am sure you are aware of one of the main reasons for hatred towards homosexuality. It is self denial. You are probably a homosexual yourself and cannot come to terms with it....and you keep trying to show others how much you hate "them", so there is not even a chance of your comrades to assume that you might be gay.

If you really want to defend Catholicism, promote the Polish nation, and limit abortion, the best thing you can do is disband and stop counterdemonstrating. Your actions are disgraceful and you are only shooting your most important causes in the foot (the heart actually).

| May I remind that also in sovietic times, homosexuality was seen as evil? Heterosexuality should be the norm. Unfortenately Poland sold their soul to Brussel for some zloty's and the right to work in countries who do not like you in the first place and are rascists (like Germany and Holland). I hope some day the Polish people will see that the sovietic days weren't so bad after all. Look at your friends, they are more close to you as you might think. Your friends are eastwards: Minsk, Moskou, not westwards in Brussels and Amsterdam. Step out of this EU-project. |

I can't agree with you. Poland is a big and sovereign country and pursues its policy as part of the EU. Actually, Poland has benefited from the accession, though certain disputed areas exist such as the problem of homosexualism and abortion.
Further, Poland historically belongs to the Latin, European civilisation totally distinct from the Turanian one (Russia) which wields so much influence over Belarus. Poland wants to be a more prosperous and developing country and this can only be achieved through participation in the EU project. Times are changing and acting on your own internationally is unrealistic.
Last remark is that Russia cannot guarantee the development of my country because there exist principles of vasalism which won't be accepted here.
You'll soon look toward Europe. Europe is uniting. The rule is that the more advanced a 2 mechanisms are the more dependent upon each other they become. |
